Abe was forced to flee her homeland when she was 6.
Children forced from their homes by war can spend years living in camps.
Why are we asking for help?
Abe Mercy wants to become a doctor
Abe is 15. In the morning she should be going to school with a notebook in her hand and a dream of becoming a doctor. Instead, she takes a hoe and works in the field from dawn so that she can have at least one meal in the evening.
She fled the war in South Sudan with her mother and siblings. She lost her father and her family home. Now she may also lose the chance to gain an education and one day care for others, because secondary school in the camp requires fees her family cannot afford.
You can help her.
Donate 30 PLN to give Abe Mercy a week of safe schooling and warm meals, easing the daily struggle to survive.
What will your support give Abe?
Your donation supports school fees, teacher support and meals. Our regular contact with missionaries and carers on the ground helps ensure that support reaches the children who need it.
What will your donation provide?

Help Abe trade field work for the classroom.
After fleeing South Sudan, education is one of Abe’s most important paths towards independence. She completed primary school, but without paid school fees she faces returning to work in the fields.
30 PLN provides a full week of learning, teacher support and nutritious meals.
